Mental Health Therapist

School Health Licensed Therapist ( LCSW or LMHC) The Licensed Therapist is responsible for providing all services as mandated under the School Health Program. Services will follow the guidance of Miami-Dade County Public School (M-DCPS) for licensed individual, Children’s Trust Guidelines and include behavioral health screening, assessment, and counseling services for students at risk for developmental and behavioral issues. Assists with screening for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and attend staffing meetings for students being considered for the ESE programs. Education & Special Requirements Master’s Degree in ay Social Science field from an accredited learning institution. Clear & Current Florida License Minimum one year pediatric /adolescent experience. Must be able to be Credentialed as Provider for Medicare/Medicaid and other insurances. Deemed competent by agency training. Great interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent computer skills especially with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
