Real Estate Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys with all aspects of commercial and / or residential real estate transactions. This role is ideal for a resourceful professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple deadlines, and understands the full lifecycle of real estate matters from contract to closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, amendments, addenda, deeds, affidavits, closing statements, and lien releases.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the closing process, including scheduling, preparing closing packets, collecting signatures, and ensuring all required documents are executed accurately.
• Conduct title and survey reviews, identify exceptions or issues, and coordinate resolutions with attorneys, title companies, lenders, and surveyors.
• Perform due diligence, including lien searches, UCC searches, zoning verification, and gathering property records.
• Communicate directly with clients, lenders, brokers, title agents, and opposing counsel to facilitate timely progress of transactions.
• Organize, track, and maintain transaction checklists, critical dates, closing calendars, and status reports.
• Prepare closing binders and ensure all post-closing documents are recorded and distributed appropriately.
• Manage escrow instructions, wire confirmations, and follow-up on outstanding items.
• Maintain electronic and physical files in accordance with firm policies and real estate best practices.
• Support attorneys with special real estate projects, portfolio matters, and entity formation / maintenance as needed.
