Unit Overview : Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you will care for diverse and complex patient populations :

• Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.
• Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.
• Patients with hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.
• A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients and medical overflow cases.

Role Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care, using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compassionate care.
• Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience across all stages of care.

Qualifications :

• Active Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Physical Requirements :

• Able to stand, walk, lift, and perform other physical demands of nursing duties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform patient transfers with assistance.
• Exposure to various environmental conditions, requiring protective equipment as necessary.
