POSITION : Customer Service Rep

SUMMARY
To be the daily connection between our business and our customers. Work and manage customer related issues including order processing, generating accurate estimates and quotes, address all customer inquiries and complaints, reconcile daily production, provide accurate and timely inventories and work with manufacturing plant regarding forecasts, productions and more.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Process purchase orders on timely basis for customer needs and production schedulesUpdate and provide any required customer reports routinelyHelp manage inventory and warehouse items. Provides data and insight regarding availability of stock, slow moving, and fast moving itemsProvide Order Confirmations, PODs, COA’s and other reports to customersAttend team, office and plant meetings when directedManage and maintain the inventory levels on all required inventoried itemsHandle customer complaints, questions and follow-up with appropriate internal / external personnel as required which may include members of the management teamMaintain customer filesProcess new items, collecting completed New Item Checklist (NIC) documentation and implementing NIC meeting for approval before new items can be producedSubmit paperwork for tooling (cutting die / print plates) to be ordered by Tooling CoordinatorRecord and distribute customer order changesCoordinate accounting credit forms for approvalProcess paperwork for quality related issuesAssist sales personnel as needed on customer accountsAdhere to daily machine schedule. Make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery and service goals.Communicate with necessary supervision to avoid problems between plant and customerDevelop working relationship with all other plant department employee / managers.Implement, maintain, and support all company policies and procedures, including safety program, and good housekeeping.Additional duties may be assigned by management.EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment2 years’ experience in agriculture produce (strawberries preferred).Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following :
Experience in the corrugated container industryComputer literate (MS Excel, MS Word, Gmail and operational software specific to our company)LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable talking on the telephone regularlyAble to read and interpret documents such as sales, business and performance reports, operating and maintenance instructions, training and procedure manuals.Ability to write business reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to make decisions and or carry out instructions furnished in both oral and written formAbility to solve a variety of problems and deal with situations where limited information or standardization exists.Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to multi task dailyMATHEMATICAL SKILLS
