Principal Scientist

A company is looking for a Principal Scientist to set the scientific direction and advance methods for intelligent systems in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Own the scientific roadmap for core AI capabilities with defined hypotheses and success metrics

Design evaluation and benchmarking for models, ensuring scientific rigor across teams

Lead applied research projects from literature review to productization, mentoring team members along the way

Required Qualifications

10+ years in AI / ML research or applied science with experience in training and shipping models

Experience in designing and scaling ML systems and real-time applications

Proven ability to lead scientific strategy and cross-team architecture efforts

Proficiency in Python and modern ML stacks with a deep understanding of optimization and performance

Experience connecting ML research to physical world products is preferred
