DO Supply LLC is a global supplier of industrial automation. We are looking for a reliable QA Precertification Technician to join our production team. Strong attention to detail, multitasking, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment are critical to success in this role.
The QA Precertification Technician will assist the Industrial Automation Technicians in our Production department in product preparation and configuration, document testing work and product updates, monitor component stock levels, and screen sales orders before they are assigned to a technician. The QA Precertification Technician will utilize DO Supply’s proprietary ERP software to document work, order parts, and maintain accurate records
Duties and Responsibilities
You’ll play a pivotal role in getting products ready for testing and repair, helping maintain consistent quality, and keeping things running smoothly.
Inspect & assemble components to meet order specs before they reach repair or test stages
Screen incoming sales / work orders and prepare them for technicians
Track inventory levels of parts & components; place orders or request restocks as needed
Document all inspections, configurations, test results, and inventory updates in our software system
Perform small-scale assembly or configuration tasks (for example, setup of parts or minor adjustments)
Maintain a clean, organized workspace (lab / test-bench), including organizing tools & following “5S”-style practices
Help technicians by performing prep-work : sorting parts, labeling, verifying serials & part numbers
Support purchasing / sales teams by verifying data against order specs / component lists
Identify discrepancies, propose corrections, and help ensure every unit is built / configured correctly
Assist with general repair tasks as needed — in a supporting capacity
What We Are Looking For

Are detail-oriented, organized, and care about doing work “right” the first time
Have some exposure to electronics, automation hardware, or mechanical assembly / inspection
Can manage multiple small tasks at once without losing track
Are comfortable using a computer and software tools (ERP, spreadsheets, etc.)
Communicate clearly — both in writing (logs / reports) and in person (with team & supervisors)
Are a self-starter, but also enjoy working together with a production / technical team
Preferred :
Experience with industrial automation equipment / components (PLCs, drives, motors, HMIs, etc.)
Prior exposure to quality control inspection, documentation, or inventory tracking systems
Qualifications
Education & Physical Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical / Trade School certificate or at least 1 year of relevant experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, move parts with carts / equipment, and spend time walking / standing in a workshop / lab environment
Occasional reaching, kneeling, or working overhead

Work Schedule
Work hours are typically 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, or 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM (if approved by supervisor); Monday through Friday, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Standing overtime opportunity of 5 hours / week, with more overtime approved as needed by the Operations Manager to meet fulfillment load. Adherence to attendance policies is expected to be followed diligently. Time off will be granted with proper formal notice in accordance with company policy.
