About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology PA in New York!

We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician Assistant for a 125-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity starts on Oct 27, 2025, and offers a full-time Monday through Friday clinic schedule with day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm. The role is ideal for a provider with experience in hematology and oncology who is ready to contribute to a busy outpatient clinic environment and provide high-quality patient care throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage follow-up visits
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
  • Support continuity of care for hematology and oncology patients

  • Active New York license required
  • Board certifications in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
  • Prior hematology / oncology experience preferred
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills
