Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Float (Escondido)

The Advanced Practice Provider Float works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare by providing excellent patient-centered care and services within a dynamic team environment. This role will provide direct healthcare services to patients under the direction and responsibility of Physicians in three main categories : direct patient care, team support, and clinical administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

DIRECT PATIENT CARE

• Performs comprehensive physical examinations on patients, including review of patient medical data, such as health history
• Orders, administers, and interprets test results for diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests
• Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care, and managing infection
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance
• Impacts patient experiences by demonstrating courteous and helpful behavior and a commitment to accuracy
• Assesses and provides age-appropriate care to patients

Pay range : $147k to $199k per year, depending on experience. (DOE)
