Job Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Resident Engineer and / or Structures Representative for transportation infrastructure construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background with experience in Bridge and Structural Engineering; they will possess experience leading infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, utilities, and drainage systems, from initiation through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities :

• On-Site Supervision : Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.
• Leadership : Act as lead worker over a team of inspectors, materials testers, consultants, and office personnel engaged in construction inspection.
• Quality Control : Ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds the required quality standards, technical specifications, and industry regulations.
• Coordination & Communication : Serve as the primary liaison between the project team, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
• Construction Inspections : Conduct routine inspections of the work being performed, including reviewing materials, work quality, and adherence to design drawings.
• Safety Compliance : Ensure the site follows all health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations to create a safe working environment.
• Documentation : Maintain daily logs, inspection records, and other documentation as required by the client and funding agencies.
• Reporting : Provide detailed progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
