    • About the Role

    The Company is seeking a Vice President for Merchandising and Retail to define and execute the vision and strategy for its dynamic retail and merchandising business. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating a long-term blueprint for a retail operation that encompasses various merchandising aspects, including private label brands, third-party collaborations, and both in-venue and in-market physical retail. This role requires a leader who can set and achieve strategic goals, architect measurement frameworks, and utilize insights to optimize the omnichannel consumer experience. The Vice President will also be responsible for leading a high-performing team, collaborating with operating partners, and ensuring that the retail experience aligns with the company's brand priorities. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in retail, visual merchandising, or licensing industries, with a proven track record of driving retail performance and growth. A background in the licensing business, particularly within lifestyle and sports sectors, is a significant advantage. The role demands an individual with excellent relationship-building skills, a strong network of industry contacts, and a creative, innovative approach to product development. The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful, solutions-oriented executive, adept at influencing stakeholders and making data-driven decisions. Operational acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to stay abreast of industry trends are also essential for this role.
