Medical Assistant
Provides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient vitals, explaining prescribed procedures, ensuring accurate and timely test performance, administering medications, drawing blood, preparing labs, performing laboratory tests, responding to lab messages, conducting drug screenings, ensuring patient immunizations, preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications include an associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and / or training, or a combination of education and experience. AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants are preferred.
