Our client is a venture-backed startup revolutionizing the commercial trucking industry through innovative API solutions. As a rapidly growing Y Combinator company that has achieved 15X growth post-batch, they\'re building the future of telematics data infrastructure. Their platform processes massive amounts of IoT and GPS data to power next-generation insurance and fleet management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data platforms handling terabyte-scale IoT and time-series data
- Build and optimize both streaming and batch data pipelines supporting core product functionality
- Develop real-time data processing systems to handle rapidly growing data volumes
- Create robust storage solutions and data enrichment processes
- Implement comprehensive observability patterns for system monitoring
- Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the platform\'s future
- Write clean, maintainable code in Java and Node.js
