Private Equity / Venture Capital Associate Attorney $185k$260k BASE SALARY Chicago IL
Aligned Talent Acquisition partners with several respected mid-sized and boutique law firms throughout Chicago and the surrounding metro area that regularly hire Private Equity and Venture Capital attorneys.
This posting represents ongoing hiring needs across our client base as firms continue to expand their transactional teams supporting fund formations buyouts and growth equity transactions.
Were connecting with attorneys in the 37 year range who have strong experience representing investors sponsors or portfolio companies in M&A fund or joint venture transactions.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate purchase agreements operating agreements and term sheets
Advise clients on fund structuring and investment strategy
Manage due diligence and deal closings
Work directly with partners and clients on strategic growth transactions
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school; Illinois bar admission required or pending
37 years of experience in private equity venture capital or M&A
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Strong academic credentials and business acumen
Compensation
$185000 $260000 base salary depending on firm size and experience
