Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide essential support to students, staff, and families throughout the academic year. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates holding a masters degree and a valid Virginia School Psychologist license to contribute their expertise in promoting student success and well-being.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with special education evaluations
  • Travel between school sites as needed to serve multiple locations effectively

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid Virginia School Psychologist license
  • One year of relevant experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a school environment
  • Willingness to consider part-time schedules as well as full-time assignments
