Position: Software Engineer – Radar Modelling & Simulation

About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Radar Modelling and Simulation team. In this role, you will design and develop high‑performance C++ software that supports advanced radar modelling and simulation capabilities. Your work will directly enable scene modelling, signal generation, signal processing, and radar control processing within simulation and digital twin environments.
You will contribute to a system‑of‑systems architecture, integrating internally developed software with external components to deliver high‑volume, high‑fidelity radar simulations. This role requires a strong systems mindset, collaboration across disciplines, and a passion for scalable and reliable software solutions.
What You’ll Do
·Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, object‑oriented C++ software for radar modelling and simulation
·Contribute to radar simulation components including:
·Radar and scene modelling
·Signal construction and signal processing
·Radar control and processing pipelines
·Apply systems engineering principles to ensure simulation accuracy, robustness, and scalability
·Collaborate closely with software engineers, systems engineers, and technical architects
·Influence technical direction and support design and architecture decisions
·Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
·Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews
·Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support development and long‑term maintainability
Minimum Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field
·Experience with C++ or other object‑oriented programming languages (., Java, C#, or similar)
·Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·Ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation
·Preferred Qualifications
·Strong foundation in mathematics, including:
·Linear algebra
·Probability and statistical analysis
·Signal processing concepts
·Functional knowledge of radar systems, including subsystems and overall system design
·Experience with radar modeling, simulation tools, and algorithms
·Background in radar systems development, including software, algorithms, data analysis, and modeling & simulation
·Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including mentoring and project execution
·Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with applied mathematics experience
