Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship Program Director | BUMCP

Outstanding opportunity for an experienced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our team with proven clinical skills and a desire to be a part of a growing OBGYN Academic Medicine program within Banner University Medicine. The individual hired into this role will be the Fellowship Program director and engaged in the clinical care. Specific academic interests are welcome and can be discussed on an individual basis. This will be an excellent opportunity to join a faculty team involved in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery medical education. The ideal candidate will be committed to teaching, interest in research and be a part of a growing academic department.

Position Details :

1.0 FTE

Clinic - 8AM-5PM - 0-3 times / week

Call : 24-hour shifts Friday-Thursday

Clinic / L&D coverage / hospital procedures

Qualifications :

• Experienced, board-certified Ob Gyn and at least 4 years out of MIGS Fellowship training.
• Valid AZ medical license
• Desire and ability to mentor and teach BUMC medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Experience in academics, evidenced-based practice, and research.
• Exhibits energy and enthusiasm as well as the ability to encourage life-long learning among fellows.
• Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives.
