Warehouse Safety Specialist

Pride Health is seeking a Safety Specialist to join our client in Davenport, IA 52806 . The Safety Specialist will support workplace safety, compliance, and process improvement by conducting audits, training employees, and ensuring adherence to OSHA and company standards. This is a contract role with both day and night shift opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
• Facilitate investigations and maintain all required compliance documentation.
• Enter information into internal safety databases in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform observations, audits, and incident reviews.
• Train and assist Area Managers and team members in safety responsibilities, rules, and audit processes.
• Deliver safety-specific training as directed by management.
• Support fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and other related safety initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement activities and manage corrective actions to completion.
