Overview
The Senior Field Performance Specialist will oversee the management, scheduling, and execution of all service and warranty-related tasks. This role requires a proactive, independent individual who can also collaborate effectively with the Performance Operations & Maintenance team. Close interaction with customers, the Branch Manager, the Senior Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and the centralized scheduling team will be essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
- Collaborate with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and Branch Manager to allocate labor resources for service and warranty projects.
- Support the training and development of Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
- Facilitate regular meetings to align the local field service team on best practices.
- Assist in onboarding and training new members of the field performance team.
- Consistently exceed defined goals for key performance indicators related to field performance, such as turnaround time and customer experience ratings.
- Participate in site audits and inspections when assigned.
Education and Experience
1 - 3 years of field construction or solar industry experience required.Preferred background in PV design or PV electrical.A high school diploma is required.License and Certification Requirements
Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, and be 21 years of age.A valid state or local Electrical Journeyman certification or license is preferred; it may be required depending on state regulations.Skills and Competencies
Familiarity with NEC and applicable standards.A motivated team player with a commitment to success.Proven track record of exceptional customer service.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Proficient computer skills.Knowledge of electrical / PV installation best practices and safety standards.Committed to adhering to safety policies and encouraging safe work practices.Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Results-oriented and able to work independently while promoting team success.Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions and escalate concerns appropriately.Physical Demands
Ability to lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.Capability to work on rooftops and engage in various physical activities such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and maintaining balance in elevated areas.Willingness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.Adept with fine motor skills necessary for tasks requiring hand function.Occasional exposure to chemicals with proper protective measures.Disclaimer
