What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for irregularities. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities around the premises. Report any unusual incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols. Collaborate with utility staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment. Minimum Requirements : At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
