Base Pay Range

Position Summary

The Applications Engineer / Product Specialist responds to inquiries from the organizations sales force or customers about the technical aspects of the organizations products and services. Leads technical training on product selection, performance and troubleshooting; reviews engineering specifications and generates proposals; develops skills and knowledge of the organizations products and services.

Education

Bachelors degree in engineering, or equivalent relevant education and work experience.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience with an engineering degree (Applications Engineer)
• 5+ years of technical product experience without an engineering degree (Product Specialist)
• Relevant industry experience (pumps, valves, system design, rotating equipment, etc.) desired

Travel

Limited travel required.

Physical Requirements

The work is predominantly sedentary and requires minimal or negligible physical exertion. The employee is normally seated; however, periods of standing or walking are possible. Strength to lift or carry files weighing up to ten (10) pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; ability to hear and speak to communicate in person, telephone or via Teams.

Work Environment

The environment is primarily in a controlled climate office setting but also includes time on the manufacturing floor. The manufacturing environment may involve moderate temperature changes and exposure to noise, flying debris and overhead hazards requiring proper PPE.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid arrangement after the first 90 days.

Pay Range

$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually.

Bonus Eligibility

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
