Finance Support Specialist

Requiring daily support to the Project Manager and Sr. Program Admin. Developing and maintaining CDRLs such as Task Order Status Reports (TOSR), Monthly Status Report (MSR), staffing plan reports and other contractual deliverables. Developing and maintaining financial tracking models to track budgets, costs, and variances. Updating spend plans. Reconciling NIWC invoices. Maintaining sub-contracts (modifications and invoicing). Creating travel cost estimates. Creating and working with formulas in Excel to integrate complex data across multiple projects. Performing support tasks to include word processing, spreadsheet development, documentation management, financial analysis, data collection, report processing, brief preparation, and email generation. Prioritizing tasks and strong ability to meet deadlines. Performing ad-hoc tasking within contract scope.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline
• 3-5 years of experience providing financial management support to a program / project and / or corporate operations department
• Proficient in MS Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI
• Proficient in creating and analyzing budget estimates for completeness and accuracy
• Proficient in financial projections, reconciliation of reports, and managing financial activities across various stakeholders with multiple funding types of sources
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
