Job Description

Job Summary :

We are currently seeking a Full-Time and Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Schaumburg Immediate Care. The Nurse Practitioner will work at our Immediate Care facility and provide high-quality healthcare services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, compassion for patients, and a desire to make a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities :

Perform comprehensive physical assessments of patients and order appropriate diagnostic tests

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries

Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed

Educate patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and medication management

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Adhere to all state and federal regulations and maintain proper licensure

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Other related duties as assigned

Requirements :

Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois

Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred

BLS and ACLS certifications

Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Proficiency in electronic medical records systems

Familiarity with urgent care or primary care settings is a plus
