Assists patients with activities of daily living; attends to patient behavioral issues and provides assistance in crisis intervention, as needed. Works with a multidisciplinary team in leading milieu activities such as current events groups, community meetings, life skills, and / or recreational activities, as appropriate to the specified population. Charts patient observations, following policy and procedures requirements / mandates. Participates in the development and implementation of treatment programs. Maintains confidentiality of patient and all records. Transports patients to and from community appointments, clinics, labs, and / or treatments, as and when appropriate. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety, environmental and infection control standards. Document and utilize Electronic Medical Record. Attend all mandatory staff meetings, group sessions, and in-service education. Perform other duties as assigned. One year experience working directly with patients in a program serving people with mental illness. Must possess High School diploma or GED equivalent. Valid California's Driver's License Current CPR certification Current First Aid certification
Mental Health Technician

By transforming the character, we give life back to the people who have lost it through substance abuse and mental health issues. Our brand new, 15-bed, mental health facility crisis residential program is located in Orangevale, CA. Our inpatient facility serves voluntary clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff.
