Senior Database Administrator

A company is looking for a Senior Database Administrator (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Drive the development, design, testing, deployment, and improvement of database capabilities and APIs

Manage all technical aspects related to the database product lifecycle including code, infrastructure, data, and security

Mentor engineers and establish database engineering and software development standards

Required Qualifications

Experience in development, infrastructure systems, operations, and security

Familiarity with major cloud platforms (GCP and / or AWS) and cloud-native database services

5+ years of experience in software or infrastructure platform development

In-depth experience with deploying and supporting database technologies such as Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL

Advanced knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies
