Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks experienced Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in resource room and self-contained classroom settings for the 2025-2026 school year in the Waterford, MI area. These full-time positions have a caseload of up to 22 students, ranging from early learning through high school. Candidates will start approximately January 5, 2026, and work through June 12, 2026.
Preferred candidates hold a Michigan Teacher Certificate with endorsements in Emotional Impairment (EI) and Cognitively Impaired (CI), or an Early Childhood (ZA) and other Special Education endorsements. A Learning Disabilities (LD) endorsement is acceptable for resource room roles. Comfort working within urban school districts is essential, as onsite positions are located in areas with diverse student populations. Some virtual options may be available for candidates residing in Michigan due to fingerprinting requirements.
