Position Summary
The Production & Fulfillment Manager oversees the full lifecycle of Production, Fulfillment, and Shipping / Receiving operations at the Equator Coffees Roastery. This role serves as a key operational leader responsible for workflow management, food safety compliance, equipment oversight, staffing, and cross-department coordination.
This position manages daily floor operations, prioritizes resources, and ensures accurate, efficient, and high-quality order fulfillment for all wholesale, e-commerce, delivery, and internal retail channels. The Manager also oversees the labeling ecosystem (Bartender, Afinia, Primera PL400, WIND LAB510 ), production equipment performance, packaging inventory, and all associated documentation and compliance requirements.
As a people leader, the Production & Fulfillment Manager is responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, scheduling, performance management, payroll reviews, and maintaining a safe, high-performing team culture. This role is central to maintaining operational continuity and is expected to build cross-training, SOPs, and redundancy across all operational workflows

Physical Requirements

Please note that The Roastery operates in a non-climate-controlled environment, subjecting employees to varying temperatures, including heat during the summer and cold during the winter.
During the performance of duties, employees are expected to engage in regular communication, auditory perception, and reading tasks. This role is dynamic and involves prolonged periods of standing (or being on one's feet for up to 8 hours), walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and crouching throughout the shift. Additionally, employees will be required to lift products and packaging overhead and may frequently handle items weighing between 25 and 70 pounds. Essential vision capabilities for this role encompass close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Furthermore, adept finger and wrist dexterity are essential for successful performance in this position.
