Healthcare Setting : Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 7 / 2025 – End : 3 / 8 / 2026)

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1810 - $1940

Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : Major holidays (potential time off with manager approval)

Orientation : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00am–5 : 00pm (next dates : 12 / 8 or 12 / 15)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU RN experience

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Preferred : High acuity drip management, arterial line experience, BiPAP / Airvo proficiency

Nicotine-free healthcare facility

No new graduate nurses accepted

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit

Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions requiring close observation

Administer medications, manage drips, and monitor arterial lines

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Float to lower acuity units as needed

Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions

Deliver compassionate support to patients and families
