Class A CDL driver with drayage/port experience

Our local drayage company is seeking to hire a Class A CDL Driver with Drayage/Port Experience to join our team! We have competitive compensation; you get out what you put in. We are looking for a driver who puts safety first and has the drive to get after it every day. This is a Monday through Friday work week. There will be the occasional opportunity to work a half day on Saturdays but not required. You must have a TWIC card, medical card and the knowledge of how to move in and out of the ports of Virginia. We require that all applicants provide their driving record before any interviews will be conducted. If you're looking to be home every night and be treated like part of the family and not just a number, then we may be the company for you. Responsibilities:

• Safely operate class commercial truck.
• Pull and return drayage containers.
• Properly track and document activity log.
• Report any issues, delays or incidents to dispatch.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of RECENT port experience.
• Possess a commercial driver's license class A and 5 years' experience.
• Ability to communicate well throughout the day.
• Strong work ethic.
• Punctual for all port appointments and deliveries.
• Possess a current TWIC card and current medical card.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Must be willing to start early and finish when the work is done.
