Position Overview

Position : Part-Time Neurological Liaison Nurse

Hours : 60 hours per fortnight

Location : Wilson Services Center

At MSWA, we’re committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals living with neurological conditions, including MS, Parkinson's, Huntington’s, Motor Neurone Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, and Stroke. Our team is passionate about helping clients and their families live their best lives through personalised care and support.

In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our nursing team, managing a diverse caseload of clients who need both low and high-care support. You’ll conduct comprehensive assessments, create care plans, and provide a range of nursing services, including continence management, wound care, palliative care, and catheter care. You’ll also facilitate referrals to other health services and work closely with MSWA’s Allied Health teams to ensure the highest level of care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and develop individualised care plans.
• Provide direct nursing services and clinical care.
• Facilitate referrals to other necessary health services.
• Collaborate with MSWA’s Allied Health teams.
• Travel to clients’ homes within the community (pool cars available, or mileage reimbursement for personal vehicles).
