Join our dedicated team as a Float RN, where you will provide exceptional nursing care across various settings such as Antepartum, L&D, NST, OBED, LDRP, or LDRPN. In this vital role, you will demonstrate your competence and adaptability while caring for patients with both routine and complex needs in line with their treatment plans. - Regularly provide your availability for assignments.
- Be equipped to work across multiple units as required.
- Deliver nursing care following the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
- Assess and address learning needs by providing education to patients and families.

Education / Skills : Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.Experience : Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Perinatal Services setting required.Licenses & Certifications : BLS, ACLS, RN License in the state of employment, NRP, STABLE certification, and AWHONN or NCC certifications required.In line with CHRISTUS Health policies, required certifications must be obtained within the specified time frame.
