[job_card.job_description]Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting customers, employees, and visitors as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and promote a secure environment. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to manage the flow of visitors and deliveries. Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal leadership. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activities within the retail environment. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed and accurate reports as required. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
