[job_card.job_description]Establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools and facility infrastructure mechanical systems Design and oversight for piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust and process chemicals and gasses for extensive tools Design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection and specification Provide support during construction and integration into the factory Review design packages consisting of P&ID's, layout drawings, details and equipment plans followed by review of submittals, RFIs and construction documents Field walks while on-site Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering 7+ years experience with HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing and related mechanical facilities systems 5+ years of design project delivery processes experience An Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) or a Professional Engineer License (PE) are highly preferred AutoCAD and Navisworks experience is a plus
Overview
We are seeking an HVAC Mechanical Engineer for a remote assignment out of Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will work on the client’s behalf to review designs, specs and drawings, providing feedback and comments.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
- This position will have an intial 2 week site visit to meet the team and client, after that candidates will need to travel to Boise once per quarter for walkdowns which is reimburseable (flight, lodging)
