Director HR Compliance

We're seeking a strategic, compliance-minded leader to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring HR operations align with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and focus on partnering with the Service Center Business Units to strengthen our compliance framework.

Partner with the Chief Compliance Officer to implement and oversee HR compliance policies and procedures. Lead compliance risk assessments and conduct testing to identify and address program gaps. Build and refine the HR Compliance Program with a strategic, cross-functional lens. Provide expert legal and technical advice on employment laws, contract provisions, and HR regulations. Serve as a compliance advisor on major business initiatives and projects. Mentor team members and deliver training that reinforces a culture of compliance. Explore automation opportunities to enhance compliance oversight and efficiency. Assist in SBCU compliance efforts.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 8+ years of relevant experience in compliance, employment law, or risk management (JD or MBA may substitute for some experience). Proven experience building or significantly enhancing a compliance program is highly preferred. Deep knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and the regulatory landscape. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in compliance reporting and driving cross-functional collaboration. Project management capabilities are a plus. Travel occasionally as needed for business needs.

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $137,000 - $185,000 / year.

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible Yes.

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, Charlotte, NC, and Raleigh, NC). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
