[job_card.job_description]Deliver exceptional direct patient care by utilizing the nursing process. Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes. Focus on patient wellness and apply evidence-based practices. Mentor and precept new healthcare professionals and staff. Embrace new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Ensure safety and quality care at all levels. Provide direct care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), addressing complex medical needs. Utilize AACN's Synergy Model and relevant specialty certification standards as part of evidence-based care. Receive support and guidance from Clinical Educators during your specialty education and training for competency validation throughout orientation. Location : UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central, Colorado Springs, CO
Department : MHC Progressive Care Unit
FTE : Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift : Nights
Pay : $35.29 - $54.71 / hour, based on your experience
Minimum Requirements :
- Graduation from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered Nursing program. Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
- A minimum of 6 months of ICU or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience or successful completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross (CPR for the Professional Rescuer) prior to start date; certification must remain valid for at least sixty days after hire.
