Corporate Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce's publicly traded client is looking to hire a talented Corporate Accounting Manager to join their team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at the Company. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.Summary : The Corporate Accounting Manager is a highly motivated self-starter with managerial experience, responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, reviewing account reconciliations, and performing financial statement analysis.Principal Responsibilities :

• Corporate Accounting Manager will manage and review the work of the accounting team, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, fixed asset activity, and expense analysis
• Coordinate and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies within a SOX environment
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audit requests
• Lead the coordination and preparation of the annual headquarters budget
• Accurately analyze and report financial information
• As a Corporate Accounting Manager, you will collaborate closely with refinery personnel and respond to inquiries as needed
• Manage the company-wide Purchasing Card Program to ensure compliance with policy
• Review and analyze lease contracts to determine appropriate accounting under ASC 842
• Handle ad hoc projects and reporting requests as required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
