Primary Function :

Under the direction of the Site Superintendent, the Lead Finish Carpenter is responsible for assisting in job construction including finish carpentry, managing field labor and materials, jobsite safety, and accurately track time.

Major Responsibilities :

• 15 years experience in finish carpentry
• Able to install complex finish details in a timely manner
• Able to install complex crown in a timely manner
• Make sure framing layout is per plan and Super's layout
• Able to install finish carpentry in a timely manner
• Direct Carpenters, apprentices, and or Laborer to complete tasks within a specified time frame
• Work with Foreman to ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, material and labor are available to keep job running smoothly
• Inventory materials when received on job site
• Job site clean up and lock up
• Accurately track time and tags daily
• Manage the schedule
• Manage the budget by hours worked
• Manage the team
• Have 100% safety standards on all jobsites
