Tax Associate

We are currently hiring for a full-time on-site position located in our Virginia Beach, VA office: Tax Associate.

This role typically includes recent college graduates or individuals with 0-3 years of prior tax preparation experience who are just starting out in the field. The Tax Associate position involves analyzing financial information, preparing tax returns, providing tax planning advice to clients, and resolving any tax-related issues or concerns.

Tax Associates will work directly with senior staff, tax partners, and have some interaction directly with clients. This position involves a significant amount of training and requires a willingness to learn and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on-site at our office in VA Beach, VA (23462)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Proficiency in accounting principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Ability to multitask CPA or current CPA candidate a plus
• Experience with Ultratax, ProSystem Engagement, Quickbooks, and Excel a plus
