What Youll Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) , you will :

  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising therapist.
  • Assist patients with exercises and mobility techniques to improve strength, coordination, and independence.
  • Observe, document, and report patient progress or changes to the supervising therapist and physician.
  • Educate patients and their families on safe mobility practices and use of assistive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in accordance with BrightStar Care standards.

    • Qualifications

  • Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current, valid Massachusetts license to practice as a PTA or OTA.
  • Current CPR / BLS certification.
  • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience; home health experience preferred.
