Solar Construction Superintendent

Location : Field-Based Travel Role 100% Travel Required Regions : Upstate NY, Denver, Midwest, and other U.S. locations

Job Overview : We are seeking a Solar Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for community solar projects ranging from 1 to 10 megawatts (MW). This field-based role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of civil, mechanical, and electrical construction to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The Superintendent will manage field crews and subcontractors, uphold quality and safety standards, and serve as the primary on-site contact for project stakeholders. This position requires extensive travel and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead daily field operations, including supervision of subcontractors and vendors.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules, including 24 week look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate logistics for materials, equipment, and deliveries to ensure timely availability.
• Monitor labor productivity and manage costs to maintain budget compliance.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and job hazard analyses.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to design specifications and the Quality Management System.
• Act as the on-site liaison for project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and utility inspectors.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, logs, and site photos.
• Participate in project and subcontractor meetings to coordinate progress and resolve issues.

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
