Cash Application Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Cash Application Specialist for a contract opportunity with a leading manufacturing company located near McKinney, TX. This role offers a competitive pay range of $25$28 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities :

• Accurately apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to corresponding accounts and invoices in ERP system.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash in collaboration with AR and customer service teams.
• Monitor daily bank activity and ensure timely posting of cash receipts to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and reconcile cash application reports to support month-end close and audit requirements.
• Communicate with internal departments and external customers to resolve payment issues and maintain positive relationships.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cash application workflows.

Pay Details : $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
