Building Automation and Mechanical Service Sales Consultant Let’s Start with You

What You’ll Do
- Grow service revenue by promoting MIH’s aftermarket offerings and mechanical solutions.
- Create, present, and win proposals for Preventative Maintenance and service work.
- Develop deep relationships with property managers, facility leaders, and senior decision-makers.
- Drive new and renewal Preventative Maintenance agreements across a defined territory.
- Lead site walk-throughs and business meetings to assess needs and shape strategy.
- Evaluate HVAC equipment; align with operations on labor and material estimates.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with professionalism and clarity.
- Deliver sharp, persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
- Build and sustain a robust commercial / industrial contact network.
- Identify, plan, and execute strategies for long-term growth.
- Own key account tracking and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with service managers, field technicians, and controls teams for seamless execution and strong customer satisfaction.
- Share timely market intelligence on trends, competitors, and opportunities.
- Represent MIH at trade shows, industry events, and networking forums.
- Mentor junior sales talent as needed; exemplify our standards and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What You Bring
5+ years in sales with a record of meeting or exceeding goals.15+ years in the industry.Working knowledge of HVAC, controls, and building automation (preferred).Confidence engaging executives, property managers, and senior stakeholders.Relationship-first mindset with strong negotiation and closing skills.Exceptional written and verbal presentation ability.Time management mastery—prioritize, execute, and hit deadlines.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Dynamics).Analytical, technical, and strategic thinking strengths.Detail orientation and outstanding customer service.Autonomous and collaborative—comfortable doing both.Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.Relevant HVAC certifications / licenses (preferred).Willing to travel across New England as needed.Growth & Culture
