Job Description:

As an HVAC Instructor, you will teach and mentor students in all aspects of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems. You will provide classroom instruction, hands-on training, and curriculum support to help prepare students for successful careers in the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction to a diverse student population.
• Teach HVAC theory, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair using a hands-on approach.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with program standards.
• Monitor student progress and provide support and guidance.
• Ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and teaching practices.

Qualifications:

• Spanish fluency a plus, but not required.
• HVAC certification (EPA 608 required; NATE certification preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of HVAC repair technician experience.
• Light woodworking construction experience beneficial but not required.
• Previous teaching or training experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor adult learners.
