Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul automobiles, vans, trucks, and other automotive vehicles in accordance with Dealership and factory standards.
• Remove, disassemble, inspect, repair and replace units such as engines, transmissions and differential as required.
• Realign and adjust breaks, align front ends, and repair or replace shock absorbers.
• Examine and diagnose cause of any malfunction on vehicle and discuss with customer, service advisor, or service manager / director the nature and extent of damage or malfunction.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts.
• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicate with service advisor if additional work is necessary.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles as necessary before and / or after repair.
• Properly utilize all personal protective equipment.
• Attend required meetings and training.
• Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time in the sole discretion of management.
