California Licensed Pharmacy Technician

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician - Prior Authorization & Medication Assistance - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Support prior authorization by reviewing electronic health records against payer requirements for specific medications

Assist clinics with prior authorization inquiries and collaborate with healthcare professionals

Coordinate communication with patients regarding high-cost medication questions and support through Patient Assistance Programs

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Current California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing

Prior Authorization experience is highly preferred

Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting materials up to 40 pounds

Responsive to auditory alarms and capable of reading medication labels
