Engineer - Painter

Job Description

The Engineer Painter must have a minimum of 5 years Journeyman experience and be proficient in one or more of the following areas :  proper surface preparation and application of all types of paints utilizing brushes, rollers, and spray methods, for interior and exterior applications; drywall taping, sanding and finishing for textured and smooth finishes; all types of wall covering layout, installation and repairs; special finish applications including faux, graining, wood finishing and staining.

Job Responsibilities :

• Possess & exhibit accurate record keeping skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Basic computer skills and be detail oriented.
• Possess customer relationship skills.
• Must be able to read, understand and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics and sketches.
• Proficient in the safe use of all trade related hand and power tools, safety and personal protective equipment.
