A company is looking for a Denials Follow Up Representative to manage and resolve denials in the revenue cycle process.
Key Responsibilities
Differentiates between clinical and technical denials through analysis of EOBs and denial letters
Contacts payers to negotiate resolutions on technical denials and manages the appeals process
Evaluates appeal outcomes and manages assigned accounts through timely follow-up and record keeping
Required Qualifications
Four-year degree preferred or equivalent experience in hospital-related billing / follow-up
Knowledge of and experience with managed care contracts
Experience in customer support or client issue resolution management
Strong analytical acumen and multi-tasking skills
Proficiency with MS Office
