Job Description
Maintain and manage highly technical Motorola Solutions subscribers.
Proactively address and mitigate subscriber issues and malfunctions, ensuring optimal performance across integrated systems.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on subscribers.
Collaborate with customers to develop code plugs and implement custom programming for subscribers.
Preferred Candidate Skills
Proficiency in Radio Management and all software used for subscriber programming and code-plug development.
Experience with P25 Systems, LMR RF systems, wired / wireless communication systems, networking equipment, IT networks, and subscriber equipment.
Experience in configuring and testing Motorola Solutions two-way radio and subscriber products.
Knowledgeable in the installation of mobile communication systems.
Basic knowledge of hand tools.
Familiarity with RF cables, including coax types and connectors, with the ability to create and test coax cables.
Knowledge of data cables and the ability to build and test them.
Experience with rack installation, including bolting to the floor and installing equipment according to rack diagrams.
Knowledge of basic test equipment such as Viavi 3920, DMM, power supplies, and watt meters.
Understanding of building drawings / layouts.
Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Sheets, and other Google applications.
Strong self-management and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with Motorola Solutions' customers, subcontractor partners, and internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Customer Service).
Self-motivated and self-managed to perform duties remotely with minimal supervision.
Ability to quickly solve customer problems in stressful situations.
Candidate Requirements
Must successfully pass and maintain background checks and security clearances.
Possess and maintain a clean driving record and a current valid driver's license.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
Willingness to travel 25% of the time within the designated territory.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
Target Base Salary Range : $70,000 - $85,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
