Overview

Dignity Health Medical Group - Bakersfield is seeking an General Urologist Physician to join our physician led, patient centered practice in Bakersfield, CA. We are affiliated with Bakersfield Memorial Hospital and Mercy Hospitals and aligned with one of the largest health systems in the nation and the largest hospital system in California.

Practice Highlights :

  • Join experienced Urologist in the Group and Team of experienced Urologists to share call
  • 1 : 7 hospital call
  • da Vinci robot available

  • RN Triage during after hours and weekends

    • Responsibilities

  • Patient Care : Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Procedures : Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
  • Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Team Collaboration : Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
  • Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

    • Qualifications

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
  • This is also an H1B visa opportunity, requiring candidates who are cap exempt.

    • Pay Range

    $192.00 - $228.00 / hour
