This Contract to permanent position requires expertise in managing payroll processes for multi-state operations and medium to large organizations. Responsibilities :
- Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries regarding compensation.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Manage payroll for organizations with over 500 employees, ensuring scalability and consistency.
- Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and implement necessary adjustments.
- Perform audits to verify accuracy in payroll processing and reporting.
- Assist in the implementation of payroll systems and upgrades to enhance efficiency.
- Handle sensitive payroll data with confidentiality and integrity.
- Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations and requirements.
- Ability to manage payroll for medium to large organizations, including those with over 500 employees.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR and finance teams.
