As a Security Officer - Hotel Grounds Patrol in Big Bear Lake, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the premises of a hotel and resort location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to guests and staff. You will perform routine patrols, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate : $18.12 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for all occupants.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance and support to guests and staff.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
